Registration

Identify a sustainability challenge in your school or community, form your team and register to begin your Quest4Earth innovation journey.

Quest2.

Teacher Training

Teachers/mentors will participate in an orientation programme to learn about the Hackathon, AI tools, and mentoring student teams throughout the hackathon journey. They will receive a certificate upon completion of the orientation programme.

Prototype Submission

Based on the challenge identified and the learning received, teams are required to submit their AI-enabled solution.

Submission Needed:
  • AI-powered prototype/solution
  • Demo video (details to be shared shortly)
  • Project documentation (details to be shared shortly)

Top 100 Announcement

The best solutions submitted by student teams will be shortlisted for the Masterclasses and Mentorship Programme.

Masterclasses & Mentorship

Shortlisted teams will participate in expert-led masterclasses and mentoring sessions to strengthen their ideas and refine their prototypes.

Sessions: 26 October – 1 November 2026

Quest6.

Re-Submission

Based on the mentor feedback and learning received, teams will submit the improved version of their solution.

Last Date: 16 November 2026

Top 10 Announcement

The ten most promising teams will be shortlisted for the National Grand Finale.

Quest8.

Grand Finale

Shortlisted teams will present their AI-enabled solutions before a distinguished jury of experts at India Habitat Centre, New Delhi.

Eligible Students

Students of Grades 8 to 12 from government schools in India.

Team Formation

Participation is allowed in teams of two members.

Teacher Mentor

Each participating school will nominate one teacher mentor to guide and support teams.

Inclusive Participation

Schools are encouraged to form diverse teams, with at least one girl participant wherever possible.

Communities across India face everyday environmental challenges that need innovative solutions. Quest4Earth Hackathon 2026 encourages students to identify these local problems and use Artificial Intelligence to develop practical, technology-enabled solutions that create meaningful impact.
